Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using Simple Data API.

1. Information we collect

We collect and process the following categories of data:

  • Account identity data, such as email and profile details.
  • Workspace and team data, such as members, invites, roles, and plan state.
  • Project content you create, including field schemas and JSON draft/live snapshots.
  • Usage and operational data, such as request counters, alert events, and uptime check records.
  • Billing metadata, such as subscription status and checkout events from Stripe.

2. How we use information

We use data to provide and improve the service, including to:

  • authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • provision workspaces, projects, API publishing, and team features;
  • enforce plan limits, detect abuse, and protect platform integrity;
  • process billing and subscription flows;
  • support customers and troubleshoot product issues.

3. Processors and infrastructure

We use third-party infrastructure providers to run the service, including Supabase for core database/auth services, Stripe for payments, and Vercel for hosting/deployment. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.

4. API keys and security

Project API keys are generated by the platform, stored with hashed/encrypted representations, and should be treated as sensitive credentials. You are responsible for managing key access in your own systems.

5. Data retention

We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal requirements. Retention periods can vary by data type and account status.

6. Your privacy choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal account data, subject to applicable law and operational/legal constraints. You can also manage workspace members and credentials directly in the app.

7. Children

Simple Data API is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page.
